Résumé
La vie d'un shérif tentant de conjuguer sa vie familiale et son métier difficile. Il doit d'ailleurs très souvent calmer les tensions entre deux communautés : les habitants de la petite ville dans laquelle il a grandi et les Indiens habitant à Ramapo Mountain. Après une tragédie et un incident avec sa femme, il va s'associer avec un membre dangereux de la tribu. Malheureusement, cette alliance reviendra inévitablement les hanter à tous...
